Chassis
The underside of the trailer features a galvanized steel chassis and an aluminium floorpan, guaranteed not to rust or rot.
Roof vent
This hinged vent is fitted with a strong over-centre mechanism giving a positve action to let in fresh air when open, and an effective weather seal when closed.
Rear light cluster
Tough rubber bodied highly visible lamps and rubber mounted side lights. Minimising the possibility of damage if your vehicle brushes against hedges etc.
Rear doors
Louvered vents work in combination the front and roof vents to ensure a continuos air flow through the trailer even with the doors closed. (Not standard on basic models)
Aluminium framed partition
Aluminium framed centre partition panels mounted on a central galvanized steel pole provide more space for loading and unloading.
Beam axle
Ifor Williams beam axle system increases stability and reliability, whilst ensuring minimum maintenance.
Groom's door Positioned safely on the side of the trailer and within easy reach of the interior lamp, the Groom's door allows easy and safe access to check on your horse. The larger HB510XL/610 have lockable grooms doors.
Covered breast and breeching bars Multi-positional for height and length.
Option on HB510/610 models
One piece rubber matting The design of the trailer allows the mat to be completely removed for thorough cleaning/disinfecting. The larger models HB510XL/610 have multi-part mats.
Spare wheel with cover This is fitted as standard to the HB401/505/510, with a cover to complement the trailer body. The spare wheel on HB510XL/610 does not include a cover.
Emergency release mechanism In the unlikely event of your horse becoming distressed or getting into difficulty, the breast and breeching bars can be released. The receivers are released by unscrewing the retaining bolts from outside the trailer with the hex key supplied.
Coupling head Lockable low profile coupling head ensures optimum clearance of 4x4 rear doors.
